Hard to say for sure.  We periodically sample our paydirt and are generally able to recover 0.2gm to 0.7gm of gold, it varies.

It takes a little practice and patience to get your technique right, but anyone should be able to do it.  Some of the gold can be tricky to separate in a pan.  The gold (which is heavy) settles in with heavy black mineral sands.  We STRONGLY recommend you pan your paydirt multiple times.  This will ensure you retrieve as much gold as possible.  Why not pan into a tub or similar?  You can dry out your paydirt and do it all over again.

No.  We sieve the paydirt to get rid of larger rocks and any organic material leaving you with “concentrates” – all the worthless material is removed.  This makes your panning experience easier and keeps the paydirt bags small for economical postage.  We don’t process the paydirt beyond sieving.

Yes we do.  I don’t know about you, but I’d be upset buying a bag of gold paydirt and not have any gold in it.  Our paydirt bags are guaranteed to contain gold.

It’s possible but not likely.  The underlying dirt is gold bearing and unscreened and we don’t actually know how much gold is in it.  Some bags are richer in gold than others and you may even find some bigger pieces. 

Areas where large gold nuggets are found are often different from areas where alluvial fine gold is found, but you never know.  Our paydirt is unchecked so it’s possible to find larger pieces but wouldn’t be too common.

There are lots of reasons you might buy paydirt.  The major reason is the fun and satisfaction of panning your own gold.
